Body Glove Hawaii

Every day is a beautiful day for a cruise!

It was your typical beautiful morning in Hawai’i . We decided to park Free at the Body Glove parking lot, and enjoyed the short walk to the Kailua-Kona pier. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff upon arrival, and boarded the Kanoa II a 65-ft. long catamaran around 7:30 am.

Once we walked on-board the crew invited us to find a place to seat and grab a bite to eat. We were amazed at the huge selection of delicious foods to choose from. I was immediately drawn to the build your own yogurt parfait and platter of fresh fruits. We were also thrilled to see one of Maia’s favorite breakfast items, blueberry muffins. We sat down and enjoyed our breakfast and set sail as scheduled.

Admiring the pod of dolphins surrounding the Kanoa II.

About 5-10 minutes into our cruise we stopped to observe a pod of dolphins swimming not to far off the Kona coast. This was a huge photo-op moment for most of the people on board. You could not help but to see the excitement on the faces of everyone both young and old.

Once we arrived to our snorkeling destination, the knowledgeable staff gathered everyone together to share information and educate us about the location, reef-safe sunscreen, safety tips, etc.

The Body glove provides several floatation options to choose from. Swimming with a toddler this was necessity for us. We enjoyed snorkeling, paddle boarding, and Oni had way too much fun on the 20 ft. water slide. Time flys when you’re having fun, and before we knew it we needed to get back on-board to grab a bite to eat.

Lunch…. well I wish I got a photo before devouring it. Our lunch included an awesome juicy cheese burger, potato chips, fresh fruit, green salad, and a delicious potato salad. There were vegan burger options as well!

On the ride back we stopped and watch people jumping off a cliff side. Maia was amazed by this and cheered them on. Shortly after we left this spot the little one went down for a nap after her full day of fun and excitement. At last, a delicious lava flow drink from the bar for myself to end the beautiful cruise back to the kailua pier.

We had an unforgettable day as a family and made memories that are sure to last a lifetime. I would like to thank Body Glove cruises and the helpful, knowledgable, and friendly staff. We look forward to our next family adventure aboard the Body Glove!
